Street Latin

Enrolled in Street Latin Beginner @ Dance Central www.dancecentral.com.au today. The program covers a diverse range of Latin rhythm such as Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Cumbia and Vallenato. It's fun to learn....But it's hard to master this style of dance-timing, footwork, armwork & bodywork.

Ear piercing episode II

Went to have our ear piercing today. Mel said " I will remember what you have done to me"hahaha :) I said " You will be thankful for that when you wear nice earrings after 6 weeks"  In fact, it was painful when I had mine done-watery eyes. Mel thought it won't be painful since I just kept quiet during the whole process-I knew you won't have a go if I told you the truth.

Corby's case

The verdict of Corby's case -( she is guilty with 20 years imprisonment & 100 mil rupiah fines)has released for more than 1 week- lots of discussion about appeal submissions. I don't have any opinion on her innocence or guilt-must prove beyond reasonable doubt, but I think her lawyers made a right decision so far to take into account the risk of life imprisonment after the appeal submissions. It seems the Corby Protesters are heating up the dispute- urged the Bali Court to dismiss the appeal and sentence her to death. http://www.smh.com.au/news/World/Corby-protesters-call-for-death-sentence/2005/06/04/1117825099516.html

Notes: Can't believe it's the first time to sing K with Mel-knowing her for nearly 6 years.

Had a nice dinner with Mel @ Masuya last night. We ordered Agedashi Tofu, Sashimi, Scampi & Black Sesame Ice-cream-Yummy :) I didn't know Masuya doesn't serve fried oyster (Mel's favourite side dish) anymore. I can't remember when was the last time that we had dinner in Masuya together-2 or 3 years ago?? Such a small world, met Mel's friends in Masuya and they just sat right beside our table. We just softened our voice......"Girl's talk"!!

Ear Piercing Episode I

We went to Myer after dinner-Stocktake Sale & Thur Shopping night. Mel was so delighted-got a pair of jean from Sportsgirl for $90, which is cheaper than the pair-$170 that she bought last week. I think she will wear it today-causal wear @ work & recommended her to the Taylor during her lunch break. :P

Mel has been thinking of ear piercing for a LONG time, but never have one. Whist we were shopping @ Myer, she said "I want to get my ear pierced". I said" Okay..Let's go now. I was thinking to have my ear pierced-2nd pair in 2003, but I was scared to go by myself."

We went straight to the Chemist near Centre-point-can't believe I feel energetic with such thing. Unfortunately, we can't make it because the Chemists was going to be closed @8:30pm and they didn't have any ear-piercing services at night. Sigh! We planned to have our ear piercing this coming Sat after my dance class.

Notes: Read CITYWEEKLY last night. I was thinking to do volunteers work @ The Australian National Maritime Museum. www.anmm.gov.au

Such a dilemma......

I used to complain about the "long working hours" when I have had my legal work experience with Charles. O well! I still complain when I have 24 hours x7 days private time now. Nothing exciting, but just spent more time on social gathering.

10:00am
Got an express post from Hong Kong. I am so auspicious because dad and mom are thoughtful. I just broke the old one accidentally last month and dad just bought a new digital camera (Contax) as my b-day gift. I should be very careful from now on. Um...I was thankful for Eric's favour. You just saved my pocket for the postal fees.

1:30-2:00pm
Met Selena for lunch and this is my first time to walk into the "ABC" Main Building (very magnificient).

2:30-5:30pm
Spent the rest of the day with Liz in the city. It's the last day for all vouchers at the entertainment book, that's why we have to spend it on "food & drink". Enjoyed the "buy one get one free" discount.

6:30pm
Testing my new digital camera. (Target: my Siamese Fighter) I like it very much, Dad. You don't have to get another one for me! :P

Notes: Since Liz requested for the transfer from this blog http://veronicaho.blogspot.com/ to xanga. I have to take this motion "copy & paste" from now on.
